The primary focus is to address and resolve problems/ conflicts within the context of the family unit. All family members and subsystems are targeted with family systems therapy.  

1 in 6 U.S. Youth aged 6-17 experience mental health disorder each year (nami.org). Early intervention can help reduce problems at home, school and in community. Interventions include play, behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy and other interactive models.

Psychotherapy for adolescents is beneficial with addressing mental health disorders, suicide prevention, self esteem, family conflict, and relational conflict.

Psychotherapy is used to provide mental health education, identification of problem areas, processing using person-centered approach, exploring and evaluating solutions, development of skills to reduce symptoms and resolve conflicts. 

No matter what stage you are at in your current relationship, therapy can be used to strengthen understanding, communication and intimacy; as well as help to resolve and rebuild the foundation for long term satisfaction. Couples counseling is available to support couples develop cohesion and build for their future. Couples counseling IS NOT covered by insurance.

Community engagement through education and provision of supervision for LMSW seeking LCSW licensure. All requirements according to O.C.G.A. Rule 135-5-04 and GA Law Code Sec 43-10A-12 for supervision have been met by provider.
